KHSS Artsmark Gold Award

We are delighted to announce that Kings Heath Secondary School has been awarded the Artsmark Gold Award, recognising our commitment to embedding arts, culture and creativity across the whole school. This significant achievement reflects our school value of Aspiration: providing our students with rich opportunities to discover their talents, develop their confidence and broaden their horizons.

From music, art, theatre and performance to creative workshops, trips and careers opportunities in the creative industries, we are committed to helping every student aim high and recognise the possibilities available to them. We are particularly proud that the arts are increasingly supporting high-quality learning across the curriculum, while developing students’ confidence, oracy and creativity.

Our Artsmark journey has helped make the arts an integral part of our school culture, and we are excited to build on this success. Our assessors highlighted the strength of our arts and cultural offer, the value placed on the arts across the school and the positive impact on students’ learning and experiences.
