Students Rise to the DofE Challenge
Our Bronze Duke of Edinburgh (DofE) students have successfully completed their qualifying expedition, demonstrating outstanding determination, resilience and teamwork throughout their adventure.
Carrying their rucksacks, students spent five hours walking and putting their navigation skills into practice. Along the way, they supported one another, tackled challenges together and showed real commitment to completing their expedition.
The adventure also gave students the opportunity to put their practical outdoor skills to the test. Working together, they pitched their tents and prepared their own meals using Trangias, developing independence, confidence and valuable life skills.
After a challenging day, there was time to relax, share stories and enjoy some well-deserved marshmallows together! These moments of friendship and achievement made the experience even more memorable.
The expedition was a fantastic example of our school values in action: Belonging, Aspiration and Respect. Students encouraged and supported one another, aspired to achieve their goals and showed respect for their teammates throughout the journey.
We are proud of all our Bronze DofE students for embracing the challenge, stepping outside their comfort zones and achieving so much together. Well done to everyone involved!
